Q: I want to know do I have to stick with the lender my agent gave me. I spoke with another lender from the internet who said he would get me better rates than I have been offered. I was already pre-approved; they sent me commitment papers, but I have not signed anything. Will I be penalized in any way if I seek another lender; if they run my credit report again will that affect my scoring?
